William Francis Heffernan

William Francis Heffernan, 82, of Hickory, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Carolina Caring. Born May 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Francis Heffernan and Helen Heffernan.

He is survived by his wife, Annie, of the home; his sisters, Barbara Prazzo of Medford, Oregon, and Patricia Webster of Twin Falls, Idaho; his brother, Michael Heffernan of Los Angeles, California; his stepdaughter, Alison Weeks and her husband, Timothy Weeks, of Billingshurst, England; and his step-grandchildren, Samuel and Kit.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jamey Heffernan; and his stepdaughter, Meredith Brown.
