Timothy Conrad

November 6, 1956 — August 25, 2025

Timothy Dwight Conrad, 68, went home to be with his Lord on August 25, 2025 after years of declining health. Tim was born November 6, 1956 in Hickory, NC to the Reverend George Dwight Conrad and Ruth Shoaf Conrad. He graduated from Appalachian State University. Tim married his love, Kimberly Bass Conrad, on April 8, 1978. They shared many adventures together until Kim passed in 2021.

Tim was a fun-loving jokester. He enjoyed being outdoors, and making others laugh. Even during the years his health declined, you could still find him cracking a joke. Tim enjoyed spending time on the water, as well as the mountains which were close to his Mountaineer heart. He spent many of his professional years as a supervisor at Shuford Mills.

Tim was preceded in death by is wife, Kimberly Bass Conrad, his parents, Reverend George Dwight and Ruth Conrad, and his beloved niece Kimberly Eudy.

Tim is survived by his sisters: Linda Conrad Mulvie, of Ponce Inlet, FL, Rebecca Conrad Rhyne of Conover, NC, and Martha Conrad D’angelo of St. Petersburg, FL; nephews and nieces: Robert Rhyne III, Joy Webb, Jill Adair, and Brad Rhyne; and great-nieces and nephews: Alexis Ketchie, Courtney Eudy, Shelby Adair, Matthew Adair, Jackson Webb, Avery Webb, Griffin Rhyne, and Lincoln Rhyne.

The family would like to thank Katherine Lovelace and her family for the love and care they have provided for Tim the last few years.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
