Terry Wayne Mooneyham, 63, went to meet Jesus early Saturday, January 24, 2026, at The Greens in Viewmont while under hospice care.
Terry attended Fred T. Foard High School and later obtained his GED. He spent many years driving long-haul trucks until health issues made it impossible for him to continue.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Nilor Mooneyham; his maternal grandparents, James and Celia Whitener; an infant brother, Gerald Mooneyham; his father, Dolman Mooneyham; and, just thirteen days before his passing, his mother, Elsie Whitener Eudy.
Terry is survived by his brothers, Carroll Mooneyham and Tony Mooneyham and wife Natalie; his sister, Sue Bolick and husband Reggie; his stepmother, MaryJo Mooneyham; his stepbrothers, Chad Arrowood and Chuck Arrowood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his children, twin daughters Christy Adams and Chasity Horton; his grandchildren, William Adams (Aimee), Summer Caudill, Zachary Rudisill, Sabrea Horton (Landon), Tori Horton (Landon), and Austin Horton (Brittany); and five great-grandchildren, with one additional great-grandchild expected in May.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Terry’s many caregivers for their compassion and dedicated service.
In accordance with Terry’s wishes, no service will be held. He will be laid to rest beside his father in Tennessee at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
