Steven Monroe Hefner 62 of Hickory died Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his residence. Born October 14th, 1958 he was the son of the late Ralph Edward Hefner Sr. and Margaret Yvonne Keller Hefner. He enjoyed Classic Rock and Roll and NASCAR and was avid wrestling fan as well as a fan of Dallas Cowboys. He was a first responder at Shuford Mills where he was employed for over 20 years. He was an exemplary father and grandfather who was always the life of the party.
His wife, Kelley J. Hefner of the home; A daughter, Julie Ammerissa Hefner and Fiancé Anthony Lail of Hickory; a son, Steven Matthew Hefner and partner Alexandria Acosta of Hickory; a brother, Ralph Edward Hefner, Jr. of Hickory; a sister, Carlotta Gail Hefner Vivona of Mahwah, NJ and two grandchildren, Charlotte Ruby-Lynn Lail and Anthony (A.J.) Lail, Jr. survive him.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be planned at his home at a later date.
