Sonia Stovall

Sonia was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Kerissa McNeil (son-in law, Tyler), Ashly Sluder, and Angel Smith (son-in-law, Trevor). She treasured her family and was a proud grandmother of 9; Addie, Darcy, Clairee, Colton, and Rivvi (who is expected in 2027); Natalie, Sam, and Haven; along with Marcie and Peytan. Sonia is also survived by her older sister, Crystal Gooslin Wheatley.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Francis, her father, Walter, her sister, Robyn, and her grandson, Jace.

Sonia's greatest joys in life were her faith in Jesus, spending time with her family, gambling, her cigarettes, and an ice-cold Coca-Cola. Known as a free spirit and for her kindness, and her heart-warming laugh, Sonia never met a stranger and couldn’t help but to make people smile around her. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
