Sondra Dale Phillips

Sondra Dale Phillips, 76, of Conover died Monday, August 18, 2025 at Abernethy Laurels. Born June 24th, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Cornell Vance. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Newton and served as the youth director for five years. She worked as a dental hygienist for 25 years in Newton and other surrounding towns. She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her husband of 56 years, David Phillips Jr.; her two children, Lisa Helms (Evan) and Lori Roseman (Greg); five grandchildren, Hunter Helms, Dylan Helms, Gracin Roseman, Payton Roseman and Brayden Roseman survive her.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Her memorial service be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 24, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church of Newton with Pastor Jody Welker officiating.

Jenkins Funeral Home is not involved in the service at the church.
