Roy Lee Seagle

Roy Lee Seagle "Bump", 75, of Maiden entered the gates of Heaven to be with his Heavenly Father Saturday, September 6, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. Born Saturday, July 8th, 1950 he was the son of the late Reed and Lilie Seagle. Roy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Later in life, he worked at Carolina Mills for 30 years before retiring.

Our dad loved spernding time watching the kids play ball. He loved spending Friday and Saturday nights dancing with his friends. He will be truly missed by his family and friends, but we know he is dancing right now in Heaven.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are two daughters of Newton, Lee Shade and Crystal Blake, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and his girlfriend, Roby Pay.

His wife, Lois Seagle and his son, Chance Seagle preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 15, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home, and burial will follow at Maiden City Cemetery.
