Richard Daniel Fox Sr, 82, of Newton passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Frye Hospital. Born, March 6th, 1943 he was the son of the late
Mitchel Glenn Fox and Rosa Pearl Collins.
He is survived by his children, Lisa Carpenter (Wayne), Richard Fox Jr. (Cheryl), Lori Reardon (Guerry), Susan Wilson (Scott); his sister, Sybil McCrary; and many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Ann Fox; and his brother, Harvey Glenn Fox.
The family will receive friends 3p.m.-4p.m. Monday, March 16, 2026 in Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. The memorial service will follow at 4p.m. in Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel.
