Priscilla Ann Cromartie

Priscilla "Doboo" Cromartie, 66, of Conover, passed peacefully, surrounded by close family, Friday, June 13, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born April 17, 1959, she was the daughter of the late John Morrison and the late Thelma Cornwell. We could feel her love and strength during her transition, and we know she felt ours. She was a shining light in our lives full of laughter, love, a little mischief, and resilience through the tough times. Priscilla definitely did things her way, and there was never a dull moment when she was around. Her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Tora Sherrill (Gerald), Remmy Derr, Britney Anthony (Tate), and Brandon Cromartie; her sister, Pamela "Necey" Marlow; aunts, Eva Mae Howze and Bernie Sue Magness; grandchildren, Kourtlon Perkins, Malasia Sherrill, Cameron Sherrill, Madison Groves, Kimora Peterson, and Lux Cromartie; great grandchildren, Karma, King, Quinn, Macen, Dakota and she was excited about the arrival of her newest great grandon in July; niece, Verna Marlow; nephew, Isiah Marlow; and great nephew, Aden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Cromartie; her parents; and her brother, Aundray Cornwell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on 4:00pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC 28658.

The family will receive friends from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
