Michael "Mike" Wilson

Michael "Mike" Douglas Wilson, 55, of Newton died Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born September 25th, 1970 he was the son of James and Sandra Wilson. Mike was the owner of Mike's Wholesale Cars in Newton for 32 years.

His mother, Sandra Gay Wilson; his children, Holden Scott Wilson, Skylar Renee Wilson and Victoria Faith Wilson and fiance, Jordan Yoder; his wife of 27 years and mother of his children, Sheila Wilson; his significant other, Kelly Patrick; his sister, Kimesia Wilson Atapovich "Dink" (Matthew); his neices, Madison Wilson, Valerie Sigmon (Micah), his brother-in-laws, Richard Prevatte and Myron Prevatte and several close friends that were like brothers survive him.

In addition to his father, his brother, Jeffrey Scott Wilson; his brother-in-law, Jeff Prevatte and his sister, Valerie Wilson preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 29, 2025 at New Life Authentic Christian Community. 4639 County Home Road Conover, NC 28613 with Pastor Chris Gruver officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at the church, and burial will follow at Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Icard.
