Mary Catherine Cranford

Mary Catherine Cranford, 77, of Hickory passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 at Carolina Caring. Born August 30th, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Demond and Mattie Clawson. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed.

Her children, James Holsclaw, Misty Crawford, Yvette Campbell; step-children, Dennis Cranford, Lynette Whitfield and Margo Cranford; her grandchildren, Brannon Holsclaw, Trey Crawford, Taylor Crawford, Blake Holsclaw (Abby), Brooklynn Holsclaw, and Jack Campbell; her step-grandchildren, Max Cranford, Maelyn Cranford, Kamden Whitfield and Kiley Whitfield and great-granddaughter, Riley Campbell survive her.

In addition to her parents, her loving husband, Terry Cranford preceded her in death.

The memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 23, 2025 at New Life Fellowship Church with Pastor Tommy Young officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the church.
