Martha Silver Johnson

Martha Silver Johnson, December 27, 1933 - November 20, 2025, 91, of Valdese, North Carolina passed away at home surrounded by her family.

She retired from Broughton hospital. She loved family, friends, animals, and campsite seeing with her beloved husband. She dearly loved God and church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Billy Joe Johnson, a daughter and son, lots of grandchildren, great grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and their families.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, Roy and Loretta Silver, three sisters, three brothers, two sons and two daughters.

There will be no funeral. Her last ride will not be in a hearse to a hole in the ground. Mom‘s ashes will be spread at her favorite spots to fertilize and bring new life into this world per her wishes. Sshe asked that we do not cry for her, but celebrate as she is now at peace and living in glory.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter on Mom‘s behalf.
