Marlyn Fleming Mull

Marlyn Fleming Mull, 97, of Newton passed away Friday, May 8, 2026 at Carolina Caring. Born October 20th, 1928, she was the daughter of the late H.K. Fleming and Alyce Fleming.

She is survived by her sons, Phil (Sharon), Rick (Susan), and Keith (Mynde); her grandchildren, Michael, Derek, Zachary, Thad, Garret, Makenzy; her six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including niece, Kathy Andrews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Mull; her siblings Yvonne, Gerald, Nell, and Betty.

Marlyn was active in her community, working for more than 20 years as a volunteer at Frye Hospital and visiting shut-ins for her church. She gave comfort to many others in her long life.

The family will receive friends 3-4 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2026, in Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. The memorial service will follow at 4 PM in Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
