Marie Agnes Isenhour Hefner Bryant, 90 of Knollwood Drive, Jamestown died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. She was born December 28, 1919 and was the daughter of the late, Harvey Elester & Ollie Mae Bowman Isenhour, Sr. She was a homemaker and childcare giver for the majority of her adult life. Her life was one of loving and giving to all persons that crossed her path, especially her family. Each of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and extended family reaped the benefits of her love. This love came from her deep faith and belief in God, which could be evidenced as she often sang her favorite hymns while attending to any task that she began. Marie, â??Grandmotherâ?, made everyone feel as if they were the most important person in the world and accepted them for who they were, making them a part of her family. She was put on earth to love and serve others, often doing for others before herself. This world is a better place because of this loving lady, and how lucky so many people are to have been touched by her life and example.
