Maribel Hernandez Martinez

Maribel Hernandez Martinez, 44, of Hickory died Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born July 29th, 1982 she was the daughter of Jose Luis Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez.

Her parents, Jose Luis Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez Martinez; her sons, Kevin Emir Hernandez Martinez and Jayden Hernandez Martinez; her daughter, Maribel Hernandez; her daughter-in-law, Joselyn Acevedo Nunez; her granddaughter, Gabriella Hernandez Acevedo; her sister, Ruth Hernandez Martinez and her brothers, Armondo Hernandez Martinez and Julio Hernandez Martinez survive her.

Her brother, Jose Luis Hernandez Martinez preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 at Jenkins Funeral Home, and burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
