Margaret Gibbs
September 14, 1930 — February 15, 2023
Margaret Elizabeth Woods Gibbs of Newton, NC went home to her heavenly father Thursday February 15, 2023, at the age of 92.
She was preceded in death by her husband Verlin Gibbs, and her son Marlon Gibbs.
She leaves to cherish loving memories: Her daughters, Diana (John) Newsome, Caroline (Chuck) Kennedy, one sister Marcie Simpson, four grandsons Shakeem Ibrahim, Chad L. Linebarger,
Ryan Linebarger, Victor Wilson, one granddaughter Annie Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Margaret's family invites friends to join them in celebrating her life. A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 21st from 1:30pm to 2:00pm at the Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church on 3115 Liberty Hill Church Road in Claremont, North Carolina. The service will follow at 2:00 pm with the internment following.
