Mabel Elizabeth Yeazel

Mabel Elizabeth Yeazel, 93, of Lincolnton passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 in her home. Born, May 12th, 1932 she was the daughter of the late John Melton and Claira Mabel Barnes.

Mabel cherished her family above all else, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with those she loved. She will be fondly remembered for her exceptional cooking meals prepared with warmth, care, and the gift of making everyone feel at home.

A devoted and resilient military wife, Mabel followed her husband wherever his service led, standing beside him with unwavering support. He was the light of her life, and together they shared a bond marked by steadfast love and countless smiles.

Mabel leaves behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and deep affection that will be forever treasured by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Ann Thomas (Ted), Kimberly Lovelace (Gary); her grandchildren, Randy Hubbell, Michael Decaro, Brandon Decaro, and Ryan Decaro; and a host of loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, John Melton and Claira Mabel Barnes, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Yeazel; her son, Ronald Lee Yeazel; and her siblings, Patsy Hulen, Peggy James, and Tom Barnes.

The family will have a private service.
