On Monday, May, 23rd, 2022, Lori Parkin passed away. Mom was one of a kind. She had a very full life. She did things her way especially these last few years. She was a tough cookie. We were very fortunate to have her close this past year and spend time together. This is one of my dad's favorite pictures of her. We were goofing around at the front desk of the Bowl-O-Drome where a lifetime of memories were enjoyed!
Some of my mom's favorite times was as a child growing up on a farm with horses. She spoke fondly of her days competing in barrel races. She also liked to draw and paint. She enjoyed her retirement years in sunny, warm, dry Las Vegas. I'd like to think she is now living on a horse farm in the desert, riding her horses, painting and throwing a bowling game now and then. Mom, is now resting easy! Though We are saddened we are comforted that she is now at peace forever more! We love you!
Lori is survived by her children Ben (Vicky) Whittaker, Valerie (Tim) McKenna, and Kevin (Sheryl) Whittaker.
