Linda Lee Starr

Linda Lee Starr, 78, of Newton died Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Carolina Caring. Born Sunday, May 2nd, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Evelyn Starr.

Her husband, William Starr; her children, Elaine Lutz (Jamie) and Matthew Starr (Nicole); two grandchildren, Jessica Lutz and Patrick Lutz and her dog, Roscoe survive her.

In addition to her parents, her sister, Sandra Defrank preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Pastor Von Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at the Jenkins Celebration Center and a private burial will follow at a later date at Catawba Memorial Park.
