Larry Carl Mitchell

Larry Carl Mitchell, 67, of Vale, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Atrium Health Lincoln. Born July 13, 1958, he was the son of the late Olin Mitchell and Elvie Reinhardt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Debbie Mitchell; his daughter, Michelle Poovey and her husband, Eddie; his son, Lance Mitchell and his wife, Barbara; his brother, Kent Mitchell; his granddaughter, Natalie Mitchell; his grand-dog, Claire; and his fur baby, Tater.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Mitchell; and his brother, Terry Mitchell.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, in the Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Roads officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
