Kenneth A Rudisill, 90, of Hickory passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born, March 8th, 1935 he was the son of the late George L. Rudisill and Sarah Louise Rudisill.
Ken accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior early in life and used every opportunity to share his testimony of how good and faithful God was to him. He loved his extended church family and was always ready to lend a hand and prayer to anyone in need. He was an inspiration to many as he lived his life as a true reflection of Christian values.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marlene Wilson Rudisill; his children, Kenneth Lee Rudisill (Julee), Alisa Rudisill England (Curtis), Joy Rudisill Job (Paul), and James "Jim" Beckom (Janet); his siblings, Blonnie Oaks (David), and Larry "Bo" Rudisill; his grandchildren, Amber Rudisill, Joshua Rudisill, Terry Stollings, Cody England, Austin England, Meghan Cox, Jesse Cox, Samantha Seabock, Brittany Job; his great-grandchildren, Carver England, Cameron England, Connor Seabock, Charlotte Seabock, and Sophia Seabock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, George L. Rudisill, and Sarah Louise Rudisill, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Jo Thimms, Ruth Ann Bradley; his brother, Jerry Rudisill; and his son Bryon Rudisill.
Memorials may be made to Freshfire Church located at, 8654 Huffman Ave, Connelly Springs, NC 28612.
The family will receive friends Saturday May 3, 2025 from 10AM-11AM at Freshfire Church located at 8654 Huffman Ave, Connelly Springs, NC 28612. The Memorial Service will follow at 11AM.
Jenkins Funeral Home staff are not involved in the memorial service at the church.
