Junior Ismael Guerrero

Junior Ismael Guerrero, of Conover, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026. He was born on June 23, 2006, in Catawba County, North Carolina, and was the beloved son of Maria Yuliana Loza and Jorge Guerrero.

Junior was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend. He had a passion for working on his car and enjoyed spending time with those he loved most. Though his time on earth was far too brief, he touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Junior is survived by his sister, Emily Guerrero; his brothers, Julian Loza and Angel Lemus; his grandparents, Samuel A. Loza, Margarita Loza, Hermina Cerda, and Jorge Guerrero; his loving girlfriend, Melany Reyes; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 921 2nd St. NE, Hickory, NC 28601. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery in Newton, North Carolina.

Junior Ismael Guerrero, de Conover, falleció el lunes 29 de junio de 2026. Nació el 23 de junio de 2006 en el condado de Catawba, Carolina del Norte. Era el amado hijo de María Yuliana Loza y Jorge Guerrero.

Junior fue un querido hijo, hermano, nieto y amigo. Le apasionaba trabajar en su automóvil y disfrutaba pasar tiempo con las personas que más amaba. Aunque su tiempo en esta vida fue demasiado corto, dejó una huella imborrable en el corazón de quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y amarlo.

Además de sus padres, le sobreviven su hermana, Emily Guerrero; sus hermanos, Julián Loza y Ángel Lemus; sus abuelos, Samuel A. Loza, Margarita Loza, Herminia Cerda y Jorge Guerrero; su querida novia, Melany Reyes; así como varios tíos, tías, primos, demás familiares y numerosos amigos.

La Misa de Funeral se celebrará a la 1:00 p.m. del martes 7 de julio de 2026 en la Iglesia Católica St. Aloysius, ubicada en 921 2nd St. NE, Hickory, NC 28601. La familia recibirá a familiares y amigos en la iglesia antes del servicio, de 11:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. El sepelio se llevará a cabo inmediatamente después en el Cementerio Southside, en Newton, Carolina del Norte.
