Joseph Christopher Cannon

September 29, 1997 — April 8, 2026

Chris was a light in this world—one that shined so brightly in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him. He was a devoted father, a cherished son, a loving brother, a proud uncle, and a loyal cousin and friend. His presence brought laughter, warmth, and a kind of joy that could never be replaced. Chris had a heart that reflected God’s love. He showed up for people, he cared deeply, and he lived with a spirit that reminded us all what it means to truly love one another. Whether through his smile, his humor, or simply being there when it mattered most, Chris left a lasting imprint on so many hearts.

He is survived by his beloved son, Branson, and his lifelong partner, Meghan. He is also survived by his devoted parents, Tiana de la Rosa and Robert Chris Cannon; his stepfathers, Juan de la Rosa and Tim Craig; his maternal grandparents, Tonya and Joe Gobble; his paternal grandfather, Donald Cannon; and his one and only great-grandmother, Ruby Marshall.

His memory lives on through his sisters, Makayla Flores (Dominic), Caylee Cannon, and Briana Cannon (Julia); and his cherished nieces and nephews, Carlos, Noah, Mariana, Aurora, Corra, and Jream. Chris also leaves behind his "best men" and closest friends, Hunter White and Brennan Triplett.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and that Chris is now held in perfect peace with Jesus and the family he missed so dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Linda and Wayne Weaver. We trust that he is resting in the presence of God, free from pain, surrounded by a love greater than we can imagine. Chris’s life was a gift. His love was a blessing. And his memory will forever be a treasure we carry with us each and every day.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
