José Manuel Santacruz Ruiz, de 57 años, falleció el 3 de septiembre de 2025. Nació el 11 de febrero de 1968 en México.

José será recordado por su amor al trabajo, las reuniones familiares y, especialmente, las fogatas. Tenía un don especial para reunir a las personas: enseñaba a los más jóvenes a encender una fogata y creaba recuerdos alegres alrededor de ella. Aunque no fue padre, José fue una figura paterna para muchos, siempre ofreciendo bondad, orientación y risas. Fue verdaderamente el corazón de cada reunión y será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron.

Le sobreviven su madre, Enriqueta Santacruz; sus hermanas, María Santacruz y Minerva Santacruz; sus hermanos, Luis Santacruz, Gerado Santacruz y Jorge Santacruz; su sobrina, Eustolia Santacruz; y su sobrino, Iván Santacruz. Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Audel Santacruz.

Las visitas se recibirán el viernes, 12 de septiembre de 2025, a las 10:00 a.m. en Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road.El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 11:00 a.m. en Jenkins Funeral Home. El entierro tendrá lugar posteriormente en el cementerio de Jenkins Funeral Home.

José Manuel Santacruz Ruiz, 57, passed away on September 3, 2025. He was born on February 11, 1968, in Mexico.

José will be remembered for his love of hard work, family gatherings, and especially bonfires. He had a special gift for bringing people together, teaching the younger generation how to build a fire and creating joyful memories around it. Though he was not a father himself, José was a father figure to many, always offering kindness, guidance, and laughter. He was truly the heart of every gathering and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Enriqueta Santacruz; sisters, Maria Santacruz and Minerva Santacruz; brothers, Luis Santacruz, Gerado Santacruz, and Jorge Santacruz; niece, Eustolia Santacruz; and nephew, Iván Santacruz. He was preceded in death by his father, Audel Santacruz.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road.The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home. Burial will take place afterwards at Jenkins Funeral Home Cemetery.
