Jordan Phillip Daughaday, 38, of Taylorsville died Sunday, July 20, 2025. Born September 3rd, 1986 he was the son of Cheryl Anne Daughaday of Hickory and the late Robert William Daughaday. Jordan was loved by everyone that knew him. He loved hard, worked hard, played hard, and prayed even harder. He had a servant heart and was always ready to help a friend or a stranger in need. He loved God, his family, and his friends. And, he was proud to be an American. He liked room temperature water and cold beer! He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snow boarding, water skiing, riding horses, shooting guns, riding motorcycles, working on cars, and hanging out with family and friends. He was proudly employed by Jon and Jessica Sipple of Sipple's Speed and Performance in Mooresville, NC. Well done good and faithful servant.
His wife of 15 years, Lynne Boone Daughaday of the home; two daughters, Emilee Faith Daughaday of the home and Raelyn Hope Daughaday of the home; a son, Kadin Phoenix Daughaday of Taylorsville; his mother, Cheryl Anne Daughaday of Hickory; his father-in law, Keith Allen Boone of the home; a sister, Elizabeth D. Pennell and husband Matt of Conover; a brother, Robert Lee Daughaday and wife Michelle of Mooresville; Dylan Forman-Kopp; two nieces, Katelyn Elizabeth Pennell of Conover, Amaris Blythe Daughaday of Statesville; his God-Parents, Gary and Bonnie Daughaday, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and friends survive him.
His father, Robert William Daughaday, a cousin, Matthew Daughaday and his paternal and maternal grandparents preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Gateway Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Loudermilk and Pastor Jerome Walker officiating. The family requests that those attending wear Bright colors in memory of Jordan.
Those serving as pall bearers are Robert Daughaday, Matt Pennell, Glynn Judd, and David Smith.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00pm at the church.
