Joe Billy Rowe, 88, of Hickory died Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the Taylorsville House. Born December 7th, 1935 he was the son of the late Charles and Dillie Rowe.
His daughter, Kathy Slaight and her fiance, Bobby Baker; Helen Presnell from a previous marriage; two grandsons, Joey Rowe and Brian Slaight; four great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters survive him.
In addition to his parents, his son, Randy Rowe, his daughter, Melissa Rowe and his grandchild, Jeremy Rowe preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Rowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 at Jenkins, and burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
