Jennifer Rogers Powell

Jennifer Rogers Powell, 61, of Hickory passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born July 31, 1964, she was the daughter of the late James Rogers and Jo Ann Sutherland.

Her family loved her deeply and finds comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her. She is no longer suffering and is free from the pains and worries of this world. She will forever remain in the hearts of her family until they are reunited again.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Craig (Joey Craig); her son, Joseph Powell (Felicia Wheeler); her mother, Jo Ann Sutherland; her brothers, Matt Rogers (Brenda Rogers), Jon O’Rourke, Darren Rogers, and Fred Rogers; her sisters, Jackie Leufkens and Angel Leufkens; and her grandchildren, Quentin Craig, Addilyn Craig, Mason Powell, McKenzie Emery.

In addition to her father, James Rogers, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jon Rogers and Emily Rogers; and her maternal grandparents, Hubert Leufkens and Lillie Leufkens.
