James Lee "Bob" White

James Lee “Bob” White, 66, of Conover, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born on February 23, 1960, he was the son of the late Ralph and Anne White.

In his later years, Bob found a special purpose in caring for animals, becoming a devoted rescuer of feral cats. He compassionately trapped, sheltered, and cared for many cats in need, creating a small shanty home where they could find safety and warmth. His dedication to his feral cat community reflected his kind heart and quiet generosity.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Treasure White; his daughter, Carrie Erickson (Stephen); and numerous loved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his sister and brothers.

The family will receive friends 5-7pm, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
