Howard Dixon

Howard Junior Dixon, II, 79, of Lawndale passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born February 3rd, 1944 he was the son of the late Howard Junior Dixon and Loreana King Dixon.
Howard is survived by his wife, Louise Tipps Dixon; his daughters, Andrea (Fletcher) Harris, Cynthia (Clifton) Walton, Yvonnette (George) Johnson, Gloria Williams, and his son, Howard (Michelle) Dixon, Jr. and by five siblings, Rosetta Paschall, Queenie Dixon, Willie Dixon, Donald G. (Carolyn) Dixon, and William Dixon; and by his brother-in-law, Vick Smith. Howard is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Smith.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2023, at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Edwards Chapel Baptist Church.
