Gladys Allen Wilson

Gladys Allen Wilson, 96, of Rutherford College went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson. Born June 26th, 1929 she was the daughter the late of Emory and Eula Allen. She has been an active member of the Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church for 66 years. She was and always will be a pillar of her church. She loved the Lord and her family, and will be greatly missed.

Her sisters, Louise Renfro and Virginia Deane Vilichka; her grandson, Michael Ward (Heather); her great-grandsons, Dakota Ward and Elijah Ward and her great-grand-daughter, Jeanie Annalee Ward survive her.

In addition to her parents, her loving husband, Herman Wilson; her daughter, Sylvia Jean Ward; her brothers, Lambert Allen and Robert Edward Allen and her grandson, James Scott Ward preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Ward and Pastor Aaron Causby officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
