Elena Rodriguez Lemus

Elena Rodriguez Lemus, 68, of Hickory, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 2, 2025. She was born on April 17, 1957, in Mexico, the beloved daughter of Juan Rodriguez Lemus and Maria Lemus Bermudes.

Elena had a deep love for nature, birds, and most of all, her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Efrain Lemus Hernandez; her daughter, Mayra Lemus, and her husband Hector, and their children Dylan and Junior;her daughter, Elia Lemus, and her husband José, and their children Sofia, Armando, Emily, and Layla; and her son, Humberto Lemus.

The funeral mass will be held at 4:00pm, Wedneday, May 7, 2025 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 921 2nd St NE, Hickory, NC 28601. Burial will follow at Jenkins Funeral Home Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm- 3:00pm, Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC 28658.

Elena Rodríguez Lemus, de 68 años, residente de Hickory, falleció pacíficamente en su hogar el viernes 2 de mayo de 2025. Nació el 17 de abril de 1957 en México, hija amada de Juan Rodríguez Lemus y María Lemus Bermudes.

Elena sentía un profundo amor por la naturaleza, los pájaros y, sobre todo, por su familia. Fue una esposa, madre y abuela dedicada, cuya calidez y bondad dejaron huella en todos los que la conocieron.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Efraín Lemus Hernández; su hija, Mayra Lemus, su esposo Héctor, y sus hijos Dylan y Junior; su hijar, Elia Lemus, su esposo José, y sus hijos Sofía, Armando, Emily y Layla; y su hijo, Humberto Lemus.

La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 4:00 p.m., el miércoles 7 de mayo de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica San Aloysius, ubicada en 921 2nd St NE, Hickory, NC 28601. El entierro será a continuación en el Cementerio de Jenkins Funeral Home.
