Dewey Lee Jolley Sr.

Dewey Lee Jolley, who departed this life at the age of 76, was a brother, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Dewey spent many years working as a fixer at the Pine Burr Plant of Waldensian Hosiery Mills in Valdese, North Carolina. He was known for his strong work ethic and the pride he took in his craft. He was also a skilled carpenter, known for his ability to build and fix just about anything.

He was the beloved son of the late Sam Lee Jolley and Thelma Maude Jolley. He is survived by his only son, Dewey Jolley, and his wife, Lindy Jolley; his sister, Elizabeth Walsh; his niece, Laura Atkins (James); and his three cherished granddaughters, Madison, Kaelynn, and Presley Jolley.
Dewey had a special love for his little dog, Elsa, who brought him much comfort and companionship.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 11:00 AM at Wilkes Grove Baptist Church, located at 5780 Wilkies Grove Church Rd, Hickory, NC 28602.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
