David Lewis Peterson Jr.

David Lewis Peterson Jr. passed away on June 1, 2026. He was born February 23, 1964, to the late David Lewis Peterson Sr. and Elizabeth Lawrence Peterson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Roger Lawrence, and a sister, Delores M. Peterson.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Alesia Peterson; his daughter, Aleia Rice; sons, Jemery Peterson and Davion Peterson; twin sister, Dianna Lynn Peterson; sister, Beth Peterson; and brother, Richard (Rebecca) Lawrence; also 12 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

David enjoyed working on cars, being a prankster, and having fun with family and friends. As aggravating as he was to us all, we loved him and will miss him.

The family will receive friends 12-1pm, Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. The service will follow at 1pm, in Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel.
