Darrell Wayne Killian

Darrell Wayne Killian, 76, of Conover, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. He was born on August 23, 1949, in Conover, to the late Cloyd Killian and Bertie Lail Killian.

Darrell worked at Hickory Chair Company for 50 years. He loved fishing, watching racing, football, and game shows, and enjoyed listening to classic rock on the radio.

He is survived by his son, David Killian of Conover; brother, Bobby Lee Killian of Hickory; sister, Janette Killian Canipe of Hickory; six nieces and nephews; numerous close family members; and a very dear friend, Carrie Medlin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde “Buck” Killian.

Darrell was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
