Daniel Parker

Daniel McDowell Parker, 73, of Lincolnton passed away Saturday, March
18, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. Born December 7th, 1949, he was the son
of the late Walter Frank Parker Jr. and Rosie Lee Parker. Daniel was a
faithful member of River View Baptist Church having served as a deacon, teacher, and chairman of the
cemetery and history committees over the years. He served in the United States Navy
from 1969-1973 and was a machinist for more than 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Parker, of Lincolnton, his daughters,
Robin (David) Coffey of Lincolnton and Lee Ann (Jon) Arrowood of
Lincolnton, his brother, Hal (Joann) Parker; his sister, Susan Parker;
his four grandchildren Caprice Coffey, Josiah Coffey, Rhaina Coffey,
and Dessa Coffey.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his son,
Seth Micah Parker.

A celebration of life will be at11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at
River View Baptist Church in Lincolnton with Pastor Barry Brookshire
and Pastor Mike Young officiating. The family will receive friends an
hour prior to the service.
