Dan Ray Timmerman Jr.

Dan Ray Timmerman Jr., 46, of Conover passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born May 28th, 1979, he was the son of Dan Ray Timmerman Sr. and Paula Killian Timmerman.

He served as President of Timmerman Manufacturing since 2001. Dan was an Eagle Scout, and he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Appalachian State University in 2001. He also served as a director of Peoples Bank of Newton and was a member of the City of Conover Planning Board.

He enjoyed spending time with his Golden Retrievers in the mountains and cherished time with his family and friends, especially at his mountain cabin in Ashe County. He loved working in the yard and took great pride in caring for his home.

He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Pena Timmerman; his parents, Dan Ray Timmerman Sr. and Paula Killian Timmerman; his sister, Suzanne Cadwallader (Chris); his niece and nephews, Carrington, Nicholas, and Harrison Cadwallader, Easton and Colton Pena; and his beloved Golden Retrievers.

The family will have a Memorial Service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, officiated by Reverend Peggy Stout. The church is located at 217 2nd Ave. NE, Conover, NC 28613. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center in the Fellowship Hall.
