Connie Blair Burns

Connie Blair Burns, 80, of Hickory died Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at her residence. Born February 21st, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Royal Blair "Pete" Winstead and Frances Estelle Winstead.

Her loving husband of 36 years, Bobby Ray Burns; her daughter, Tammy Porter (Keith); her son, Alan Wilson; two brothers, Ronnie Winstead (Rhonda) and Terry Winstead (Dorothy); her granddaughter, Alana Wilson and her grandson, Justin Porter survive her.

In addition to her parents, her sister, Linda Hess preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Bird, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home, and burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory.
