Christopher Reid Carter

Christopher Reid Carter, 51, of Newton died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born October 25th, 1973 he was the son of Thomas Eugene Carter Jr. and Linda Chambers Carter.

His mother, Linda Carter; his wife, TIna Carter; his children, Brittani Carter, Brandon Carter, Reid Cloninger, Ryan Cloninger, Braxton Carter and Macie Carter; and 14 grandchildren survive him.

In addition to his father, his brothers, Timothy Carter, Jamie Carter and Thomas Eugene Carter III; his grandparents, James and Wilma Chambers and Albert and Irene Arney, and Thomas Eugene Carter Sr.; and numerous aunts and uncles preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home and burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery.
