Charlotte Janette Arney

Charlotte Janette Arney, 90, of Newton died Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at her home. Born Monday, May 13th, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Edith Propst.

Her daughters, Lynne Traxler, Sandy Truitt and Jazmine Arney; grandchildren, Lee Traxler, David Arney, Kirk Traxler, Josh Kirby, Jordan Truitt, Aaliyah Truitt, Alexis Hartman and multiple great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and the newest great-great grandson, Zayn Travis survive her.

In addition to her parents, her spouse of 53 years, Ralph Arney Jr "Pete"; her brother, John Marvin Propst; her sons, Richard Arney and David Arney and her grandson, Jeremy Truitt preceded her in death.

The graveside service will be 2:00 Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Christ Church in Hickory with Rev. Tim Campbell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, any donations of rememberance can be sent to either St Judes Hospital or to the Marine Corps League.
