Carolyn Eunice Mullinax

Carolyn Eunice Mullinax, 79, of Newton died Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Carolina Caring. Born April 25th, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Orland Yount and Eunice Wilson.

Her two daughters, Lisa Whisenant and Valorie Gates; her grandchildren, Melinda Mullinax, Kim Mullinax, Shawn Whisenant, Bailey Camaro and her husband and her great-grandchildren, Alyssa Mullinax and Destiny Mullinax and two great-great grandchildren survive her.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Frank Mullinax and her older brother, David Yount preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 17, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
