Carl J Shook, Jr. 85 of Newton died Monday, January 14th, 2019 at Brian Center East. Born Thursday, May 4th, 1933 he was the son of the ate George Washington and Anna Lee Herman Shook.
A son, Richard Shook of Newton survives him.
A son, Michael Hook and his wife Edith Francis Proffitt Shook Preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 18th, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Aaron Causby officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Friday, January 18th, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
