Buford Allen Young Jr., 80, of Hickory died Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Carolina Caring. Born Tuesday, September 4th, 1945 he was the son of Noah and Cora Young.
His daughters, Debbie Alexander and Lena Morgan; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews survive him.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Laura Edith Young; his two daughters; his son, Arnold Shuford Jr.; his siblings, Mary Lou, Viola, Gladys, Ruby, Darrell, Harley, and Tony preceded him in death.
The graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Catawba Memorial Park.
