Brenda Gail Brown

Brenda Gail Davis Brown, 78, of Vale passed to her heavenly home Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. Born August 9th, 1947 she was the daughter of the late E.M. Davis and Lovie Louise Elliott Davis.

Brenda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her many many years working at walmart.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Cindy Ann (Greg) and Teresa Wise and partner Chad; her son, Clarence Osborne Brown III; her brother, Francis Davis; her sisters, Louise Brown (Baxter) and Nancy Davis Miller (Jimmy); and four grandchildren, Racheal Reedy (Shane), Samantha Sumpter (Chanler), Ashley Wise and partner, Mary, Alex Wise and partner, Brea and two children; five great-grandchildren, Madilyn Hester, Carter, Averlee, Charleigh and Shawn Reedy and one cherished great-granddaughter, Sadie Mae Wise expected later this year.

In addition to her parents, her loving husband, Clarence Osborne Brown Jr.; brothers, Dean Davis, Fred "Bud" Davis, Mickey Davis and Donald Davis preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Antioch Baptist Church 3413 Highway 150 Lincolnton, North Carolina 28092, with Rev. Matthew Lail officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
