Blaise Canipe

Blaise Alexander Canipe, 23, passed away on April 20, 2026 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on June 19, 2002, in Hickory.

Blaise was known for his fun-loving spirit and his talent for card tricks, which he enjoyed sharing with others. He had a big smile that could light up any room and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Johnny Wayne Canipe and Cassandra Adair Canipe; his grandmother, Jeanette Canipe; his aunt, Sheila Kay Hill; his aunt, Janet Stallings and her spouse, Cheryl Bogle; his aunt, Felicia Warlick; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alf Canipe, and his grandparents, Jimmy and Jeanette Stallings.
