Bill Clint Tester, 72, of Newton passed away Friday, January 2, 2026 at Carolina Caring. Born, November 28th, 1953 he was the son of Clint and Edith Tester.

He was employed by Martin Marietta Rock Quarry for nearly 15 years and previously worked with Regency Home Fashions for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling, cooking, camping, collecting, and was an active member of Startown First Baptist Church, where he especially loved singing in the choir. A devoted husband and son, he deeply loved his family and faithfully cared for his mother. He will be remembered as being a faithful man with love for God and a loyal patriot to America, he will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Teresa Tester; his fur babies, Clint, Linda, Gilbert, and Rin; his brothers, David Wayne Tester of Winston Salem, and Larry "LC" Clint Tester Junior of Boone; and his sister, Cathey Blain and her husband, Corey of Lake Greenwood, SC.

In addition to his parents, Clint and Edith Tester he is preceded in death by his infant brother Mikeal Tester.

The family would like charitable donations to go to Startown First Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Friday January 9, 2026 from 10am-11am at Startown First Baptist Church located at 2615 Sigmon Dairy Rd Newton, NC 28658. The Memorial Service will follow at 11am. An inurnment will take place afterwards at Howard's Creek Church Cemetery in Boone, NC.
