Barbara Ann (Brackins) Burleson

Barbara Ann (Brackins) Burleson of Hickory passed away on December 15, 2025, she was born on November 24, 1964 in Yancey County. She was the daughter of the late Homer Brackins and Edna Hughes.

She is survived by her husband, Audie Burleson, of the home; her sister, Angela "Angie" Brackins, of Connelly Springs; and her brothers-in-law, Dan Burleson (Bridget) and Sam Gladden, both of Connelly Springs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Cynthia Pennell.
