Angela Mackey
May 28, 1946 — April 12, 2025
Angela Mackey, 78, of Newton, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was born on May 28, 1946, the daughter of the late Sam Columbus Jones and Margaret Marie Triplett Jones.
Angela was a bright light in the world a true force of nature whose strength, kindness, and above all, love, touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Angela is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Mackey and husband Joseph Querry; granddaughter, Michelle Houser; grandson, Nate Mackey; and three great granddaughters.
Her husband, Nelson Mackey; daughter, Denise Mackey; and her parents preceded her in death.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC 28658
The family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00am, Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
