Alice Faye Dotson

Alice Faye Dotson, 73, of Conover, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Trinity Ridge. Born on November 6, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Robert Bruce Bristow and the late Lillie Truman Bristow.

Alice deeply loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all her family, including her many nieces and nephews. She had a passion for cooking and a heart for caregiving. She found great joy in her work as a CNA and truly enjoyed helping others.

She is survived by her son, Jason E. Sipe and wife Teresa; four grandchildren, Eric Sipe of Conover, Shelby Sipe and partner Brendan Chase of Hickory, Deanna Sipe of Cullowhee, and Damian Sipe of Lincolnton; two great-grandchildren, Nolan Chase and Bailey Chase; siblings, Mack Bristow and Margaret Bristow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her siblings: Kenny Bristow, Betty Bristow, Henry Bristow, Connie Greer, Geneva Hensley, Robert Bristow Jr., Allen Bristow, and Barbara Ann Jackson.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center, 4081 Startown Road, Newton, North Carolina 28658.
