Aileen Davis Doty

Aileen Davis Doty, 82, of Newton died Monday, July 7, 2025 at Carolina Caring Hospice. Born March 25th, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Hershel and Carrie Davis.

Aileen was a devoted woman of God. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she was devoted to help her church anywhere she was needed. She loved camping, cooking and watching the birds.

Her children, Candie Campbell and Charles "Chuck" Doty (Becky); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Campbell, Nathanial Doty and Nicholas Doty and fiancé, Tessa Clanton; her sisters, Shirley Williams and Catherine Gibson; her brothers, Hershel Davis Jr. (Teal), Roger Lee Davis (Jackie) and Chester Davis (Sandra) and numerous nieces and nephews survive her.

In addition to her parents, her husband of 62 years, Charles Doty, who passed away on June 20, 2025; her sister, Donnie Faye Morehead, and her brother, Buddy Dean Davis preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Jenkins Funeral Home with Pastor Dr. Jeff Kautz officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:45 at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home, and burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery.
